Sp0d Effect

The Sp0d Effect is a gormless unwillingness on the part of anyone to relocate (usually from Wales) in order to greatly better themselves. It is so named from the inexplicable preference of Sp0d for existing as workshy doley scum in a Welsh backwater, instead of taking the highly-paid job offered by a channel SCM, which merely required relocating to a more salubrious and less backward part of the country. Other notable sufferers are Jimbob (now permanently rooted in a dead-end no-promotion job in Aber), Wyrm (who likes his comfortable unionised University job too much) and eppa, who's just plain stupid.
There is no known cure for the Sp0d Effect.
