Ditawyrm Syndrome is suffered by people who have either been on IRC a long time, or who have stopped using IRC regularly and sometimes pop on once every year or so. They will come on the channel and constantly bang on about how good it was 'in the old days', and how crap and lame it is these days, even though they make little or no contribution themselves. Most of their lines will begin with 'I remember when/the time' and will make obscure references to events and people long in the distant past and about whom nobody gives a monkeys about anymore.
