This syndrome is intrinsically linked to being a lazy bastard. When sufferers have a problem of a technical nature, they will fire questions at people on the IRC channel randomly, even for the smallest thing. They cannot be bothered to go and look the answer up themselves. Frequently they will forget their question within a matter of minutes from asking it, so if you answer such questions, you will often get 'eh?' or something back. Sometimes solved by shouting 'READ THE FUCKING MANUAL' very loudly indeed, although sometimes this goes in one ear and out the other.
