Often suffered by people using UNIX clients on multiple channels. Tell-tale signs include saying something in channel which is completely unconnected with the current topic of conversation, indicating that they're actually attempting to converse with someone in another channel. Especially hilarious when you get 'yeah, me too, wanking hard now' interjected randomly into the conversation.
